Add OpenModelDB (openmodeldb.info) as a metadata and download source for
the existing upscaler model type.
Metadata:
- New OpenModelDBClient: fetches the site's bulk JSON dumps, caches them
on disk (24h TTL + ETag revalidation), and builds a local sha256 index
- New OpenModelDBModelMetadataProvider adapts catalogue entries to the
CivitAI-shaped version dict contract; registered in the fallback chain
behind the enable_openmodeldb_api setting (default on), gated to the
upscaler sub-type so other model types never trigger the dump download
- Persisted provenance uses metadata_source "openmodeldb" plus a nested
openmodeldb block (page URL, architecture, scale, license)
Images: paired-image LR/SR URLs are ephemeral imgdiff.net sessions, so
displayable images come from the site-hosted auto-generated thumbnails
(model-level cover leads images[], per-image thumbs for the rest); the
original comparison URL is kept in meta.comparisonUrl.
Downloads:
- New OpenModelDBSource (flat model ids, omdb: group prefix) with
resource filename derivation that recovers names hidden mid-path
(mediafire) or synthesizes {id}.{type} for folder links
- HTML-gateway mirrors (mediafire/mega/drive) are rejected with a clear
manual-download hint instead of silently saving an HTML page as .pth
- ModelSource base gains is_valid_source_id / default_subdir_parts /
resolve_download_url hooks so flat-id sources need no platform branches
UI: "View on OpenModelDB" link in the model modal (downloaded and
hash-enriched models), settings toggle next to the CivArchive one.
- Add enable_civarchive_api toggle (default on) to allow disabling
CivArchive to avoid its rate-limit windows entirely
- Add metadata_provider_order dropdown with two presets:
CivitAI → CivArchive → Archive DB (default) and
CivitAI → Archive DB → CivArchive
- Wire both settings through backend (metadata_service, settings_manager,
misc_handlers) and frontend (SettingsManager, state, settings modal)
- Reorder Metadata section in settings modal: toggles → status/management
→ fallback order, for natural top-down workflow
- Make update_metadata_providers() log the effective provider chain
using actually-registered providers rather than settings assumptions
- Add 5 test cases covering all provider-combination paths
- Complete i18n translations for 6 new keys across all 9 non-English locales
- Add SuiImageParamsParser for sui_image_params JSON format
- Register new parser in RecipeParserFactory
- Fix metadata_provider auto-initialization when not ready
- Add 10 test cases for SuiImageParamsParser
Fixes batch import failure for images with sui_image_params metadata.
Add RateLimitRetryingProvider and _RateLimitRetryHelper classes to handle rate limiting with exponential backoff retries. Update get_metadata_provider function to automatically wrap providers with rate limit handling. This improves reliability when external APIs return rate limit errors by implementing automatic retries with configurable delays and jitter.
- Add RateLimitError import and _make_request wrapper method to handle rate limiting
- Update API methods to use _make_request wrapper instead of direct downloader calls
- Add explicit RateLimitError handling in API methods to properly propagate rate limit errors
- Add _extract_retry_after method to parse Retry-After headers
- Improve error handling by surfacing rate limit information to callers
These changes ensure that rate limiting from the Civitai API is properly detected and handled, allowing callers to implement appropriate backoff strategies when rate limits are encountered.
- Fix CivArchive model ID redirect logic to only follow redirects when context points to original model
- Rename CivitaiModelMetadataProvider to CivArchiveModelMetadataProvider for consistency
- Reorder fallback metadata providers to prioritize Civitai API over CivArchive API for better metadata quality
- Remove unused asyncio import and redundant logging from metadata sync service
* add CivArchive API
* Oops, missed committing this part when I updated codebase to latest version
* Adjust API for version fetching and solve the broken API (hash gives only files, not models - likely to be fixed but in the meantime...)
* add asyncio import to allow timeout cooldown
